My youngest daughter rang whilst on her lunch break at school:-
Her: Mum, can you please go on www.hqhair.com and get a Too Faced liquid glitter eyeliner for April for her birthday please.
Me: But I already bought her a French Connection top when we were in London last Saturday
Her: I know, but she is my best friend and they are taking me to Drayton Manor with them as her birthday treat
Me: So?
Her: It is the light blue, almost turquoise one she wants only they do 2 blue ones, she doesn’t want the dark one, the light blue one OK?
Me: Yes I suppose so
Her: Oh and Mum
Me: What?
Her: Whilst on there, can you get me one aswell? I want the pink glitter one, OK?
Me: For F__ks sake, I mean for goodness sake!
Her: and don’t forget to get her a card…..

Dearest Stabber, Thank you so much for reading my blog. I swear I am not a Psycho, I honestly consider myself to be a nice person who is trying to do her best and hold it all together. I love my children more than life itself even though the teenage girls in the family drive me insane! It wouldn’ have hurt her to help out her stressed out Mummy – would it? Sometimes we all “lose it” and it is usually the wrong people that get the backlash, as in this case. x
